Ramón Torres

Ramón is a third-year doctoral student in the field of Transportation Systems Analysis and Planning. His current research focuses on fundraising for nonprofit organizations. He uses stochastic modeling to describe donors’ giving behavior, to then determine which members would be worthwhile targeting, with the purpose of making fundraising marketing efforts more efficient. Previously, he researched about the constitutional right to travel within the jurisdiction of the United States, which produced a Master’s thesis and a public policy working paper. Ramón also holds a S.B. in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
