Marc Royster

Marc is currently pursuing his PhD as a fourth year graduate student at Northwestern University in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He is originally from California where he received his Bachelor's Degree in both Physics and Math at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He uses giant radio telescopes to probe the ionized and molecular gas that is at the center of our Milky Way galaxy along with a supermassive black hole, all of which is 27,000 light years away. This is in an effort to better understand star formation in such a complex environment.
