Michelle Paulsen

Michelle Paulsen is the Program Director and co-investigator for Reach for the Stars. She has over 15 years of experience in science education. She began her career as a science teacher at Deerfield High School where she taught chemistry and physics.  She was the chair of the science department at Maine South High School, and her most recent position was as an adjunct professor at National Louis University. Michelle earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois and holds masters degrees in both environmental engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and school leadership from National Louis University. In addition to the Reach for the Stars program, Michelle is the co-founder and director of Ready, Set, Go, Northwestern's Research Communication Fellowship program.
