Aimee Karagiannis

Aimee Karagiannis will start her 17th year teaching science, 11 of which she has been teaching at Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center in Chicago, IL. She received her BA in Biology from Wayne State University in Detroit, a MA in Secondary Science Education from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and a MEd Inclusion Specialist from the University of Michigan. Recently she has taught AP Environmental Science, regular Environmental Science and Physics to both juniors and seniors. She is the science department chair and is on the instructional leadership team at Von. When she has some down time you can find her with her son, Alex, or enjoying a book from the library.
